I passed by a restaurant this morning, with a sign in the window that read:
We open at 3pm.
(We are closed until 3pm.)
Really? Ok. Um yeah. Somehow, when I read that you opened at 3p, I gathered that you were closed until that time.
I hate the people that make this sign necessary.
